Patti Payne's performance has been described as witty, sassy, dynamic, sensual and jazzy. Patti is as energetic on stage as she is versatile. She has worked for a number of years as a freelance musican, (piano, voice and trumpet). She has played the piano forever, most recently with the Montreal Intercultural Choir at the Nuits d'Afrique festival and Festival de Lanaudière. Patti began her music career in South America, where she became an avid composer and learned Spanish. Latin rhythms became part of her soul! Patti is the co-leader and founder of Blue Dance, an original Jazz and Brazilian music band that is very active on the Montreal music scene. Patti, currently living in Montreal, is the latest addition to The Pride's lineup. She is doing what she was meant to do: performing, composing, arranging and teaching music.
